Vacancy Details for Subject Specific Teachers

The District Implementation Committee Samagra Shiksha, Poonch, has released an official advertisement (Notice No.01-SnS of 2025) for engaging Subject Specific Teachers to fill vacancies in 15 designated high schools across the district.

Eligibility Criteria for Subject Specific Teachers

To apply for these Subject Specific Teachers positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a permanent resident of District Poonch
• Minimum qualification: Postgraduate in the concerned subject with B.Ed.
• Minimum 50% marks in post graduation
• Age as of 1st January 2025: Not born after 01.01.2007 and not born before 01.01.1985 (40 years maximum)

Selection Process for Subject Specific Teachers

The selection of Subject Specific Teachers will be merit-based, following the point system outlined below:

PG (in the relevant subject)	80 Points
M.Phil (in the relevant subject)	2 Points
Ph.D. (in the relevant subject)	3 Points
Experience (in relevant subject at Govt HS/HSS Level)	7.5 Points per completed academic year (max 15 points)
Total Points	100 Points

Terms and Conditions for Subject Specific Teachers

The engagement of these Subject Specific Teachers will be governed by the following terms:

1. The engagement is purely on a term contract basis for the academic session 2025-26
2. Teachers may be required to teach classes at any level as per school needs
3. Posting will be in designated schools within District Poonch
4. Selected candidates must sign an agreement containing terms and conditions prescribed by Samagra Shiksha J&K
5. Honorarium/remuneration will be as per department norms
6. No honorarium will be disbursed without a valid character/antecedent certificate from local police
7. Engagement is subject to the outcome of any pending writ petitions in court
8. Tenure ends automatically at the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic session
9. Engaged candidates cannot work in any other Govt/Semi-Govt organization or pursue higher education during the contract period
10. Candidate must join within 7 days of order issuance, or engagement will be cancelled

Interested candidates must submit their applications in offline mode along with self-attested copies of required documents to the Office of the Chief Education Officer Poonch Samagra Section within seven days from the date of advertisement (by September 22, 2025).
