Eligibility Criteria
Age & Marital Status
- Born between 1 January 2005 – 1 July 2008 (both inclusive).
- Maximum age limit: 21 years at the date of enrolment.
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates must also undertake not to become pregnant during the four-year engagement.
Education & Subject Stream (Non-Science)
- 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- 2-year vocational course with the same marks criteria.
- 3-year Engineering Diploma in specified fields with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
Physical & Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum 152 cm for all, with relaxations for certain regions.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Hearing: Must hear forced whisper at 6 meters.
- Dental: Healthy gums, good teeth, minimum 14 dental points.
