Key Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 to 42 years of age as on the date of the recruitment rally. This wide age bracket allows a diverse range of applicants to apply.

Educational Qualification

Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.

Soldier (Clerk): 10+2/Intermediate pass with 60% aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.

Height: 160 Cms (162 Cms for Clerk in 174 Engineer Regiment)

Weight: Proportionate to height and age

Chest: 77-82 Cms (Unexpanded-Expanded)

Tattoo Policy

Individuals with tattoos that are visible in physical training dress are not eligible.

Relaxation in Physical Standards

Sons of Servicemen, Ex-Servicemen, War Widow & Widow of Ex-Servicemen: 2 Cms in Height, 2 Kgs in Weight, 1 Cm in Chest

Outstanding Sportsmen (International, National & State level): 3 Cms in Height, 3 Kgs in Weight, 3 Cms in Chest

The Selection Process
