Eligibility Criteria

Age & Marital Status

  • Born between 1 January 2005 – 1 July 2008 (both inclusive).
  • Maximum age limit: 21 years at the date of enrolment.
  • Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
  • Female candidates must also undertake not to become pregnant during the four-year engagement.

Education & Subject Stream (Non-Science)

  • 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
  • 2-year vocational course with the same marks criteria.
  • 3-year Engineering Diploma in specified fields with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

Physical & Medical Standards

  • Height: Minimum 152 cm for all, with relaxations for certain regions.
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
  • Hearing: Must hear forced whisper at 6 meters.
  • Dental: Healthy gums, good teeth, minimum 14 dental points.
  • Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6.

Selection Process: Step by Step

2 Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
